Scholarship

OFIC Scholarship Program

In 2009, Oregon Forest Industries Council, in partnership with the Oregon State University Foundation, created the OFIC Scholarship Program. The program provides the Foundation with $25,000 every year to distribute to students at Oregon State University enrolled in the College of Forestry.

Awards are based on merit and fluctuate in amount, but can be anywhere from $500 to $8,000, not to exceed the cost of full tuition.

Students can apply through OSU Scholar Dollars system. OSU Scholarship committees review applicants and select recipients. 

In 2015, OFIC was inducted into the Milton Harris Society for making cumulative gifts of over $1 million to the University, made possible in part by its $25,000 Annual Scholarship Program.
